What is
Infinite Love?
Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) foundation built on a promise to fund critical childhood cancer research and to stand beside families facing the unimaginable. Since our grassroots beginnings in the spring of 2013, we have proudly awarded more than $2.8 million in research grants to some of the nation’s most respected institutions, including the Children’s Brain Tumor Network at CHOP, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Yale University, and many others.
Research is at the very heart of what we do, but we know that childhood cancer changes far more than medical charts and treatment plans. It affects entire families in the most personal and life-altering ways. From the moment a family connects with Infinite Love, we commit to walking beside them for as long as they need us. Sometimes this means helping with everyday bills, sometimes it means making dreams come true with a backyard treehouse or a sports adventure, and other times it is simply being there to listen. Whatever the need, we are determined to lift even a small piece of the burden they carry. We are proud to have provided over 100 families of cancer fighters with direct financial and emotional support.
At Infinite Love, we believe in compassion, in community, and in making sure no family ever feels alone in this fight. Our name is our promise. We lead with infinite love, and every day we strive to #MakeItAmazing for the children and families we are so proud to serve.
Please help us continue to spread Infinite Love to kids who really need it -- donate today.
Where does the money go?
Outside of the very small amount that goes to overhead to keep the nonprofit running, all the money we raise goes to either families, or researchers.
For fighter families, we host family-specific fundraising campaigns on our website to allow people in the Infinite Love world and beyond to contribute directly to that family. In addition, we provide support grants to families in $1,000 increments to help ease the financial stress and uncertainty that comes with having a child in cancer treatment. Infinite Love also has stepped in to help fighter families with unforeseen emergency expenses like broken water heaters and car repairs. We also use donations to help fund special projects and wishes for our families -- like a backyard clubhouse for a fighter who could not leave home because of immune system issues, and a limo and night out to a Rangers game for a fighter and his friends, and a special final vacation to Hawaii for a fighter and her family.
For research grants, we have partnered with the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, who helps connect the money raised by foundations like ours with vetted, promising researchers. Every year, Rally accepts grant applications from thousands of doctors and researchers across the world, and has a top-notch board of doctors and experts that review and score each application to identify the most promising research proposals. Infinite Love then gets to choose the projects we want to fund, and sends the money to fund those projects in the form of $25,000 - $100,000 grants.
To date, Infinite Love research grants have gone to some of the most cutting-edge pediatric cancer research efforts in the world, and total over $2.8 million… and counting.
